That’s where experience usually tells.

Not What Was Expected – But What Is It?

Taylor’s verdict captured the uncertainty around Molineux. Wolves have not built the exact squad many expected when the window opened. Names linked, profiles imagined, a certain type of rebuild presumed. What has emerged instead is something more unpredictable.

“That doesn’t mean it will necessarily be bad,” Taylor added. “We’ll know that in a few weeks, but it is not what we were expecting. It just isn’t.”
