Main Event Background

Jarod Grant claimed the BKB interim lightweight title by unanimous decision over Jorge Bargallo in May 2025. His first clash with Jon Barnard ended as a no contest due to a cut. In their rematch last April 17 in Niagara Falls, New York, Barnard knocked Grant out to take the title.

Grant aims to reclaim his position atop the lightweight ranks, but this fight will be contested at super lightweight.

Luis Guerrero, aged 38, fights out of Tultepec, Mexico, standing 5-foot-11 compared to Grant’s 5-foot-6. He earned a stoppage win over Luis Morales at BKB 42 in June 2025 but was stopped by Usmonov at BKB 52 in March.

The fight is scheduled for five rounds of three minutes each and is not promoted as a title bout.

BKB has released promotional material spotlighting Grant ahead of the showdown.
