Santos to Partner with Adidas for Kit Supply Starting in 2028 Season

Santos FC has finalized a long-term agreement with Adidas, marking the club’s return to the German sportswear brand starting with the 2028 season. This deal will end their current partnership with Umbro, which has been supplying kits since 2018 and remains active until the end of 2027.

Deal Details and Strategic Goals

The switch aims to boost Santos’ commercial revenue and enhance the club’s global retail presence. The announcement was officially made by Adidas on Thursday evening, confirming that this will be the third time the three-stripe brand outfits the Vila Belmiro squad.

"Santos Futebol Clube and adidas have reached an agreement for the supply of sporting goods starting in the 2028 season," the statement read.

Adidas Strengthens Its Presence in Brazilian Football

This new partnership increases Adidas' footprint in Brazil’s top flight, adding to its existing relationships with clubs such as Flamengo, Cruzeiro, and Internacional. The collaboration will cover official matchday kits, plus a wide range of lifestyle and training apparel.

Santos maintains strong commercial appeal internationally, backed by its historic legends like Pelé and contemporary stars including Neymar and Philippe Coutinho.
