PSG's Senny Mayulu Injured During France U21 Match
Senny Mayulu, the 20-year-old Paris Saint-Germain talent, picked up an injury while playing for the France U21 team. The squad, led by Gérald Baticle, secured a 2-0 win over Estonia on Tuesday, but the victory came with a few physical losses.
The most concerning was Ethan Mbappé, who had to leave early due to an ankle injury. Baticle shared his worries about Mbappé's condition after he was stretchered off at the beginning of the match. Later in the game, Mayulu also suffered an injury, which puts his participation during the rest of the international break in question.
Mayulu exited the field just before halftime because of discomfort in his left thigh. Post-match, Baticle explained that this was a cautious move to avoid any further damage. Despite being a PSG academy graduate, Mayulu has seen limited action this season, featuring in only four matches across all competitions and missing out on several matchday squads.
