Jose Mourinho Blocks AC Milan’s Loan Attempt for Endrick at Real Madrid

Mourinho Rejects AC Milan's Bid for Endrick

Jose Mourinho has firmly denied AC Milan's attempt to bring in Real Madrid forward Endrick on a loan deal this January. Despite limited playing time following a pre-season injury, the Brazilian attacker remains a key part of Mourinho's future plans.

Transfer Plans Collapse for Milan

The Italian club faced a major disappointment after Mourinho personally blocked any loan move for the promising young striker. Milan hoped to use the winter window to strengthen their attack by adding Endrick, banking on his recent lack of minutes at Madrid. Those hopes are now dashed as Mourinho insists the player will stay at the club through the season.

Injury Impact and Tactical Decisions

Endrick missed over a month due to a pre-season injury, which slowed his integration into the team. Mourinho explained the reasons behind the player's bench appearances in an interview with TNT Sports Brasil. He mentioned a tactical scenario during the Villarreal match where Endrick was about to be substituted on but was held back after Madrid scored, forcing a defensive approach.

"It is true that I haven’t given him a real chance after his recovery, but against Villarreal he was about to come on. Then we scored a goal, and in numerical inferiority, it is normal that the coach considers other options," Mourinho said.

Long-Term Confidence in Endrick

Despite stiff competition among forwards, Mourinho remains convinced of Endrick's quality and potential. The Portuguese manager refuses to allow a short-term loan, dismissing Milan’s proposal despite their belief that guaranteed playing time would benefit the youngster. Now, AC Milan must look elsewhere to boost their attacking options for the season.

Endrick’s Future at Real Madrid

The young Brazilian must continue to be patient and compete hard for minutes under Mourinho. The manager promises that Endrick will have his opportunity to shine soon.

"I don’t think Endrick needs to go on loan and I believe he can have a lot of success here," Mourinho concluded.

With a packed schedule ahead, squad rotation will likely open more chances for Endrick to contribute across various competitions.
