Their stance has already shaped the early weeks of the season. Azeez has been left out of Millwall’s last three matches, a notable omission given the scale of his impact last year. Wrexham have been credited with an eye on the winger as they look to accelerate their own rise, but any move within the division sits firmly in the shadow of the Premier League opportunity.
