UND Women’s Soccer Faces NDSCS in Historic First Meeting
Bronson Field gets a little piece of program history on Sunday afternoon.
The University of North Dakota women’s soccer team returns home to Grand Forks for a first-time matchup with North Dakota State College of Science, kicking off at 3 p.m. (CT) in what will also serve as the Fighting Hawks’ final nonconference game of the 2026 season.
Two in-state programs. One completely blank page. The all-time series sits at 0-0-0, and for the first time UND and NDSCS will share the same pitch, adding a new name to the Hawks’ list of regional opponents and a fresh wrinkle to a schedule that quickly turns serious after the weekend.
For UND, the timing is no accident. A home date, on familiar turf at Bronson Field in Grand Forks, offers one last chance to fine-tune lineups, sharpen set pieces, and lock in combinations before Summit League play begins. The nonconference window closes here; the margin for experimentation shrinks after Sunday.
Fans who can’t make it to Bronson Field will still have a clear view. Every UND home match, including this one, is carried on the Summit League Network through Midco Sports Plus, the subscription streaming home for league content. The platform is set to deliver more than 600 live events each year, with UND’s home and road conference fixtures all tucked into that package.
For those who prefer the second-screen experience, UND will keep the updates flowing. Live in-game notes and reactions roll out on @UNDsoccer on X, with the program also active on Facebook and Instagram under the same handle. Deeper dives, stats, and stories sit waiting at FightingHawks.com.
A first meeting. A last tune-up. By Sunday evening, the record book will finally have an entry—and UND will know exactly how it’s heading into the heart of its 2026 campaign.
