The clock is ticking. Gameweek 3 is almost here, and Fantasy Premier League managers are staring down one of those weeks that can tilt a season.

City, Coventry and a Norwegian Problem

Almost every major decision this week funnels back to one fixture: Manchester City at home to Coventry City.

Erling Haaland sits at the heart of it all again. The numbers from the Chief Scout data are stark: he tops the attacking return projections at 1.14, ahead of Rayan Cherki (0.97), Alexander Isak (0.81), Phil Foden (0.70) and Bukayo Saka (0.69). The captaincy debate feels almost redundant. Haaland will dominate the armband conversation, and rightly so. Most engaged managers will back him; most casual players will too.
