Bundesliga Fridays on BBC: Can You Identify the Mystery Star?
Top-flight German football lands on the BBC every Friday night, and it comes with a twist. Alongside live coverage of the Bundesliga on the BBC Sport website, app and BBC iPlayer, there’s a weekly challenge: a special Bundesliga edition of the “Who am I?” game.
This week, the spotlight falls on Bayern Munich’s home clash with Union Berlin, kicking off at 19:30 BST. While the champions go to work on the pitch, you get your own test of sharpness off it.
The concept is brutally simple. One Bundesliga footballer. A series of clues. You try to name the player in as few guesses as possible.
Get it wrong, and the game nudges open another door. Each incorrect attempt unlocks a fresh clue, edging you closer to the answer but chipping away at your score. The tension builds with every reveal.
Three clues? That’s a solid effort. Needing four or five and still nailing it puts you in elite company.
Today’s mystery player and clues have been put together by BBC Sport’s Adam Ellis. The only question left: how many hints will you need before the name finally clicks?
